The life work of psychiatrist and holocaust survivor, Dr Viktor Frankl is an inspirational and encouraging testimony of the defiant human spirit in spite of and amidst trauma, death and suffering.
His theory constitutes not only an explanation of meaning but also a "blue print" for the individual's search and finding meaning in a life context, which he describes as unconditionally meaningful. About Mark Durston
Mark Durston is a psychologist (research/education) and a Logotherapist involved in professional training of psychologists, medical staff, social workers, counsellors, and laypeople through exposure and experience of Frankl's theory on life. Workshops are run throughout SA at all levels, sharing the knowledge of this capacity growing and inspiring school of thought.
He is active in corporate training, coordinates the training at advanced and Diplomate levels in Logotherapy at Unisa Centre for Applied Psychology, and is an active Board Member of the Viktor Frankl Institute South Africa, - an institute promoting the awareness of Logotherapy in South Africa.
